Meet Jomonotics stmic. Yes, it’s a tricky name but he doesn’t hesitate to tell us exactly what it means.
“Jomo means a hundred shillings note in Kikuyu. Notics came from the word naughty & noti – a Swahili word for note. I used to be naughty when I was young and I still can, if you want me to. With all these and Jomo still being the person on the hundred shillings note, it’s only right to have JOMONOTICS. Stmic is an initial for Sijitakii Tu Mimi, Ikuwe Community. Basically am doing art not to just benefit myself but help others as well (sijitakii tu mimi).”
Born Kenyan but with international capabilities, he is a genius and well known for his authenticity. That’s reason enough not to compare him plus his art to any other artist. Having known and trusted his potential for a long time with accuracy, he is convinced that he is the best rapper alive. Jomonotics is a Hiphop, Trap & RnB Artist, Song and script writer. Never ignore the fact that he is a lover.
He has 140 recorded audio songs, two albums (N & Roses) and one mixtape – Pursuit-Will Win. He has worked mostly with Shaky Pius Aloyo of Mandugu Digital Studios and honoured to have featured on various TV stations in the country; KTN & NTV being among them.
